Artifact
A human-made or modified object studied as historical evidence.

D

Disc golf
A target sport in which players complete a course by throwing a flying disc toward designated targets. A fuller definition should cite current rules and historical usage.

F

Flying disc
A general term for a disc designed or used for throwing and flight. Product names and trademarks should not be used as universal synonyms without context.

M

Mold
In collecting and manufacturing contexts, a term that may refer to tooling or to the product form created from it; articles should specify the intended meaning.

Provenance
The documented history of an object’s ownership, custody, and use.

Stamp
Printed or transferred decoration and information applied to a disc; not necessarily identical to the disc model or mold.
